The Zero-Option Organization, or the ZOO, was established in 2004 to provide feral-class metahumans with a safe and comfortable environment in which to flourish where their needs are met without risking the safety of the public. Our motto, "Lux de tenebris," means that every mind that has been addled by the cravings inherent to metahuman life will find safe harbor within our walls, where our team of psychologists, zoologists, physicians, and other staff will do everything in their power to help you and yours reach a point to rejoin society safely.
Unfortunately, some feral-class metahumans are simply too dangerous to be released. For our long-term residents, we ensure that their needs are met with civility and without sacrificing their humanity, in hopes that one day we will have the technology to help those too far gone to help themselves. If you or a loved one is showing signs of feralism, please don't wait. Contact a ZOO official as soon as possible—early intervention may mean the difference between a resident and a guest.

Summary

And the life of a slave girl is much, much, harder than he thought, especially under her cruel hand... despite her claim to want to end slavery in the kingdom altogether.
