So it really came down to this. The demon stood in the middle of a street, surrounded by flames and carnage but unable to care anymore. He knew he should feel rage or panic or sadness or any other range of negative emotions but there was only emptiness. Resignation. What was the point anyway? One measly demon had no chance of standing up against a force of Heaven.

Eliot finds Q's journal full of his depressive feelings. Reading how much he hurt him made him hate himself even more. Q was gone and Eliot didn't get a chance to be brave and fix his mistakes. He was useless.
Good thing that there were others who loved Q too. People like Julia who knew how it felt to be full of godly power. If she could get that back she could drag her best friend out of the afterlife.

This happens after the disaster that was the throne room rejection. It's short angst with Q catching Hanahaki because Eliot is an idiot. It's more of an idea for a story that a proper story, the plot doesn't really flow. But I had to get it out of my system. Contains happy ending as I can't kill my baby Q like those bastards did.
