Ni-Ki menoleh. Kali ini, ada sesuatu dalam matanya yang sulit dibaca. "Maksudnya?"
Taki menggigit bibirnya, lalu mengangkat bahu. "Kamu tahu maksudku."
Sesaat, tidak ada yang berbicara. Angin malam masuk dari celah jendela, membuat tirai tipis berkibar perlahan.
"I mean, religion plays such a big role in here, doesn't it?" suara Ni-Ki akhirnya terdengar.
Taki menatap lurus ke arahnya.
"…Makanya ya," jawabnya pelan.
"Makanya apa?"
Taki menelan ludah. Ia tahu ia seharusnya tidak mengatakan ini, tapi kata-kata itu meluncur dari bibirnya sebelum ia bisa menghentikannya.
