Takemichi sat on the couch inside a motor shop.

He have be coming there pretty often after he prevents that accident, unfortunately the owner of this shop, also known as Sano Shinichiro, has peek some interest in him after he suddenly came to his shop and told him that he’s gonna to die.

Shinichiro find it weird at first, like a normal person would. imagine some random kid coming up to you and told you that you're going to die tonight. but turns out what the kid said was true after all.

On the same night, his little brother's friends came to his Shop on midnight to steal one of his bike, one of them almost killed him, but he lucky dodge the attack and stopped them from stealing the bike, he scolded them of course, they apologized afterwards saying that they doesn’t know that it was his shop and promised that they’ll never do something like this again.

The kid came again the next morning, prolly to check on him, Shinichiro didn’t miss the sight of relieved on the kid face.

He called the kid to come in so he can introduced himself.

“Hey kid, thanks for saving my life back there, you seems like you already know who i am, that's creepy. but let me introduce myself again, I’m Sano Shinichiro.” He bent down to the kid height, so that he can see his face clearly.

“H-hanagaki Takemichi…”

“Yosh! Takemichi, How old are ya buddy?” In Shinichiro perspectives, Takemichi is probably around 9 or 10 years old, on the size of his body. Imagine the shock he had after Takemichi Told him that he’s 12yo, only a year younger than mikey. it's concerning, because he’s way too small for the kid around his age.

‘Did he even eat properly?’ Shinichiro can’t help but wonder about this kid situation, he has know some kid with some family problems too, for example Kazutora.

As far as Mikey told him, That Kazutora kid doesn’t have the best family situation, thank god Mikey already take care of that on his own way.

But Takemichi is different, Shinichiro doesn’t know anything about him, to be fair he only knows him less than a day, there's no way shin have the right to mind into this kid's business. yet Shinichiro felt like this kid know everything and he can’t just ask something personal to someone he just met.

“Alright bud, in return for saving my life, let’s go get some lunch my treat!” At least this is what he can do for now, he wanted to help this kid with every way he can.

“EH?! Y-you don’t have to Shinichiro-san! I did nothing after all…” And as he expected, Takemichi refused his offer, well poor him, because Shinichiro doesn’t take no as a answer.

"none sense! you saved my life back there!"

They sat inside some family restaurant, it’s not the fancy one, but it’s still nice.

They both sat comfortably and ordering some food, while waiting for the food to come, Shinichiro decided to start a conversation with Takemichi, in order to know more about this Kid.

“So Takemichi, how did you know that someone going to ‘kill’ me?” Shinichiro make sure to mentally slapped himself, because that wasn’t a nice way to start a conversation.

“Uhh… i was happen to take a walk around the night, and.. when I passed by a street, I overheard that someone was going to, uhh robbed your shop?.. yeah, i was panicking and I ended up coming to you the next day, and yeah that happened..” Takemichi is a bad liar, shinichiro mentally notes that to himself. but takemichi knows he can’t just tell Shinichiro that he was a time leaper, no he definitely not going to risk it.

“Hmm yeah, that make sense.” And once again, Shinichiro didn’t miss the sight of relieved on Takemichi’s face, ‘this kid sucks at lying.’

“Thank you for your treat Shinichiro-san”

“It’s fine, don’t mind, don’t mind!” It’s surely the 10 times the kid thanked him already. but yet he already noted to himself that he need to keep an eye on this kid.

Well it’s not like it’s the first time he felt this, he has ‘adopted’ a lot of kid before, well yeah like inui for example.

“Hope you can come over to my shop again! You can come whenever you like. it’s getting late, you should probably head home.” And yes, he can see the slight twitch on Takemichi’s eyebrows.

“Yeah, maybe I should, see you later Shinichiro-san!”

And yeah that’s how he came to Shinichiro’s shop almost every day, he usually came right after his school, around 2/3pm.

When Shinichiro ask Him why he doesn’t hangouts with his friends, he said that he did hangouts with his friends on his way here.

Oh and well, Takemichi will stay at his shop until the closed hours, after that he will head home, Shinichiro did offer Takemichi to let him give him a ride multiple times, but Takemichi refused.

Well Shinichiro just shrug it off.

It's not like it's a big deal, right?

Takemichi knows that something will surely change the day he prevents Shinichiro from dying.

The thing is, Takemichi doesn’t really think about it.

Not until now.

It’s not like that he regret what he did, no. he does not regret it, after all he managed to saved everyones favorite big brother, Sano Shinichiro.

The one that everybody looks in him.

Now that Shinichiro still here, breathing and alive, they surely doesn’t need Takemichi anymore right?

Then why is he still here?

Well it’s not like Takemichi mind to be here tho, he actually really likes to come to Shinichiro’s shop, it’s better than staying at home, millions times better.

Takemichi is still 12yo and he knows that he wasn’t supposed to meet Mikey yet, well he’s not even sure if he will able to.

he already saved Shinichiro so why would Mikey want to befriended him anyways, The similarities between him and Shinichiro was the reason why They’re interested in him on the first place.

So Takemichi doesn’t have any reasons to become friends with Them anymore.

He doesn’t even think that they will able to be friends, still being able to come to Shinichiro’s motor shop was lucky enough for him.

That give him some hopes maybe, just maybe, he still have a chance to be friends with Toman again in this timeline.

“So Takemichi, i was wondering, why did you never come here on holiday?” It’s already been a few months since Takemichi start to hangout there, and he never, even once come to his shop on holiday, when usually the kid his age would spend their time to play outside.

“I mean, you always came here on weekdays, so why didn’t you come on weekends?” They were on the garage, fixing Mikey’s bike, apparently Toman got into a fight again and he almost broke his bike.

There’s the silence gap for few seconds before Takemichi spoke, breaking the awkward silent.

“I’m always busy on that day.” He was eating his ice cream, while watching Shinichiro fixing the bike.

“Oh? And why is that?” Shinichiro taking off his gaze from the bike to the kid close to him “helping out your parents?”

He doesn’t missed the little twitch on Takemichi’s eyebrows right after he mentioned his parents.

“N-no, not really, I was spending time with my family! You know, family time!” Takemichi is a liar, a bad one “cause of that, I’m not allowed to go out on weekends.”

“Damn, that must be sucks.” He chuckle and continue giving attention to the bike again.

takemichi just gives a slight shrug as a response.

“Oh shit, it’s raining.”

Well indeed it is, they spent the rest of the day fixing Mikey’s bike and now they’re sitting on the couch inside the shop, Drinking some hot chocolate while watching the rain fall, it was so peaceful, Takemichi could feels like all of his burden has been gone for a moment.

He doesn’t need to worry about anything, just joking around, even he got to meet some of Shinichiro’s friends that day.

He got to met Takeomi, Wakasa and benkei, they come to check on Shinichiro like always, “we were just making sure that you’re still breathing.” They said, Takemichi knows that they’re just worried about Shinichiro.

Oh how Takemichi hope that he had a friendship like them, he can’t help but missed his small group. the mizo middle five, Takemichi and his gang would always got into trouble, then Akkun would scolded them for it, Takuya is the one who knows Takemichi the most, they’re childhood friends after all, Takuya has always be there for all of them, Makoto is the one who likes to cause trouble, such a pervert one, he also the tallest on the gang, but besides that, he always be the one to protect them, even if he act like an asshole sometimes, he genuinely care about them, then there’s Yamagishi, the one who thought that wearing glasses would make him smart, if you want to know something about delinquent world, just ask him anything.

Remembering his friends make Takemichi feels warm and safe, after all they’re the one who always be with him from the start, even before the time leaps happened, they were there not because he’s the ‘crybaby hero’ but because Takemichi is Takemichi.

Damn he didn’t realized how much he actually missed them until now, he’s been focusing on saving Toman too much, he should’ve spent more time with them.

He still have takuya for now, he can't wait to meet the others. this time he'll spend more time with them.

“…what happened?” Shinichiro was just peacefully chilling on his shop until Takemichi showed up with a body full of bandages, from his fingers to his elbow, not to mention the fresh bruises on his cheek.

“I kinda run into some trouble on my way here.” Takemichi rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, trying to avoid making eye contact with Shinichiro.

“And??” Takemichi can feels that Shinichiro is Staring straight into his soul.

“Huh, what and?”

“I’m asking about your hands, I’m sure it’s not the wounds you’ll get in a fight.” Shinichiro won’t stop staring at Takemichi.

“O-oh my hands.” He hides his hands behind his back “I tried to cook last night, hehe it doesn’t end well, I almost ended up burning the kitchen.” He then let out a awkward chuckle.

Shinichiro rised his eyebrows “hm is that so?” Handing Takemichi a drink and sat beside him “you need to be more careful next time.”

“Yeah i will!” He take the drink from Shinichiro’s hand and open it.

“Alr for now, let me treat your wounds first, and the next time you come here, I don’t want to see new wounds from you, got it?!” Shinichiro stand up and put his hands on his hips, like a protective mother.

“Yes!”

“Shin-nii! Where’s my bike!” A kid with blonde hair slammed the front door open, starled Takemichi up a little.

He quickly hides behind the couch before someone noticed his presence.

“Oi Mikey how many time I told you not to slam the door like that!” Another blonde kid with a dragon tattoo appears behind the shorter one and yelled at him.

“Pfft! Like he would ever listen to you.” This time a kid with black hair come in with more kids behind him.

“Sorry for disturbing, Shinichiro-san!” Finally! Someone with a manners.

“Ken!! Takashii!! This is why you guys are my favorite!” Shinichiro hug the kid with lilac hair, while wiping the nonexistent tears.

“What?! I thought I’m your favorite?!” The Kid with black hair climbed up onto Shinichiro’s back and almost choking him.

“K-keisuke! I can’t breathe you brat!”

Draken picked up Baji and throw him the the side, ignoring the kid complain.

The other two kid just keep quiet while watching the chaos, while they looking around they noticed a kid peeping them behind the couch, the kid also realized that he has been found out and quickly hides behind the couch.

“Shinichiro-san! There’s a kid hiding behind the couch!” Kazutora pointed at the couch catching the others attention, the looked at directions where Kazutora pointed at.

“Huh a kid?”

“Oh it must be Takemichi!” Shinichiro stand up and make his way to Takemichi hiding place “Come here boy!, why are ya hiding?” He take Takemichi’s hand and lead him to others.

“S-shinichiro-san wait!”

“Huh who tf is are you?” Baji glared at him, making Takemichi flinch, but then the black haired boy ended up got smacked on his head by the lilac haired one.

“Shut up Baji, be nice.” Mitsuya could only sigh at his friends behavior and Takemichi could understand why Mitsuya is Shinichiro’s favorite.

They’re here, right in front of him.

But how? He was not supposed to met them until his second year of middle school, but now he thinks about it again, he was not even supposed to met Shinichiro in the first place.

But right now, seeing all the Toman finding members, standing right in front of him, staring at him, with having no idea who he is, Takemichi can’t help but feeling nervous.

They have been staring at him for the past few seconds, the awkward tense didn’t help either, no one knows what to say, until Mitsuya decided to break the silent.

“So, who is this?” Mitsuya stood in front of Takemichi looking right at him.

“This is my new buddy! Takemichi, Takemichi they’re my little brother's friends, hope you guys can get along!” Shinichiro pushed Takemichi towards the Toman finding members “Well I need to do something rq, I’ll be back in a minute!”
And just like that, Shinichiro left him with them.

“So uhh, I-i’m Hanagaki Take..michi, nice to meet you…” He keep avoiding making eye contact with any of them, he locked his gaze to the floor, doesn’t dare to rise his head.

Mitsuya’s gaze softens at the sight, he can feel that the boy in front of him was nervous.

“Hi I’m Mitsuya Takashi, you can call me Mitsuya, it’s nice to meet you too and sorry for them, they can be trouble some most of the times, but trust me, once you get to know them, they're actually a good guy.” Mitsuya shake Takemichi’s hand completely ignoring the complaints from baji and Pah-chin.

The second one to introduce themselves to Takemichi was Draken “Sup, I’m Ryuguji ken, call me Draken.” Yup like always, cold but cool.

Then there was Pah-chin “Wazzup kid, you can call me Pah.” (I forgot his real name)

then Kazutora, Takemichi can clearly see that Kazutora doesn’t want to at first, but despite Mitsuya protests he ended up introducing himself too.

“Hanemiya Kazutora.” He held out his hand, when he shake Takemichi’s hand he can’t help but notice how small it is. 'so skinny.' he muttered under his breath, unfortunately for him, takemichi heard that. but he just smiled awkwardly at him, was it really that obvious?

“OI! What grade are you in huh?!” And ofc Baji will be Baji, then he got smacked on the head by Mitsuya again.

“At least introduced yourself first you dumbass! Be nice for a moment will ya?!” Mitsuya scolded Baji for the second time today, Baji could only growled at Mitsuya, doesn’t dare to fight back, Kazutora and Pah-chin was just laughing their ass off.

“BHAHAHAHA KEI-CHAN JUST GOT SCOLDED BY HIS MOM”

“BRO I CAN SEE THAT”

“he really can't talk back to mitsuya!”

“S-SHUT UP!!”

“Now now Kei-chan, be nice to your new friends and introduce yourself properly.” Mitsuya decided to play along with this, Baji feels even more betrayed.

“Tch, don’t call me that!!” He pouted and make his way to Takemichi again, giving a second glance to Mitsuya which he only received a nod from the lilac haired boy.

“He-hello I’m Baji Keisuke, 13yo and first grade of middle school, it’s- ugh... nice to meet you.” Well that was the most polite introduction for a friend.

“I’m Hanagaki Takemichi, 12yo and I’m in sixth grade, it’s nice to meet you too!” Takemichi for some reason finally dared to make a eye contact with them, only to met Baji’s blank stare.

“You’re only one year younger than us?!” Baji yelled right into his face.

“Y-yes! is there’s anything wrong?...”

“Bro no offense, buy you look like a 9yo.” Pan-chin said, he put his hand on Takemichi’s shoulder.

“Yeah like you look so small!! Did you even eat anything?!” Baji won’t stop yelling.

Takemichi didn’t say anything for that, instead he just keep quiet, slowly breaking the eye contact from baji and locked his eyes to the ground once again.

he doesn't like it when someone mentions anything about his appearance, he's fully aware about his own body. it's not like you could blame him for it, if there's anyone to blame, it was surely his parents.

Draken sweat dropped at the sight of his friends making fun of the new Kid “you two need to stop that, can’t you see that you making him uncomfortable.”

On the other side, the other two, Mitsuya and Kazutora doesn’t take this as something to be joking at, the frown on Mitsuya’s face would explain it all, he turns to look at Kazutora and making eye contact with him.

The knowing look on Kazutora’s face doesn’t make the situation better. he knows better about this kind of situation, and it's never a good thing.

As for Mikey, he haven’t said anything at all, he stood there, doing nothing but staring, it seems like he getting annoyed that the new kid is getting all the attention right away.

“Oi Mikey! You haven’t introduced yourself, go say hi to the kid.” Draken grab Mikey’s hand and bring him to Takemichi, ignoring Mikey’s protests.

And now, Mikey is right in front of Takemichi while Takemichi himself slowly raised his head again, and looking at the boy in front of him.

“Uhh hi?”

Instead of saying hi back, Mikey just stare at him the turn away.

In that slight second Takemichi remember Draken’s words.

‘Mikey doesn’t talk to someone he doesn’t interest with’
