Summary
Monty crawls up onto the Cat King’s thighs. “But you like that, don’t you? You like that I hate you.”
It’s a bad idea, to indulge the little bird when he’s drunk.
But the Cat King has never been one to turn down a bad idea. He wouldn’t have chased after Edwin Payne if he was.
He is a creature of want and desire. He knows the way that Monty looks at him, sometimes, that mix of disgust and resentment and desire that the boy doesn’t know how to indulge.
So when Monty leans in, pulls the Cat King into a kiss, the Cat King doesn’t reject it. Fuck no. Why would he ever turn down a bird with too little sense in his head and too much desire to know what to do with?
(Monty drinks an intoxicating potion that releases his inhibitions. The Cat King is more than happy to indulge him.)
