Summary
Alternate universe Disventure Camp competition fic featuring some characters and challenges from Total Drama and several OCs, inspired heavily by the randomized cast/alt timeline genre on YouTube and implied to take place in our own world, much like canon Disventure Camp. Drawing heavily from what I like and dislike about canon Disventure Camp, my main focus will be ensuring this fic is character-driven, meaning most characters will develop meaningfully throughout the course of the season- or at least as much as possible in a reality-TV show where someone must be eliminated every episode. Not every character can or will have a good ending, but I hope in your humble opinion they will each have a satisfying conclusion. My second priority is a heavy focus on relationships between the characters in a manner that each relationship is enjoyable to read and drives impactful change for each character. Lastly, I want to maintain the focus on gameplay and strategy and will be developing unprecedented strategic dilemmas and deadlocks for the characters to contend with. Therefore, if you only watch Disventure Camp for the strategy and gameplay, this should still be a fun read! I hope you enjoy!!!
