“ ‘Let’s see if He wants you after I’m done with you!’ The man laughed but Henry no longer heard him. His eyes were fixated on Bendy’s impossibly large grin and he knew the monster was staring back. He felt like a hostage under the all-consuming burn of that eyeless scrutiny. Time seemed to slow to near standstill and the artist had so much opportunity to act. Bendy would surely kill his faceless assaulter. Then he’d surely turn his claws onto his creator. The monster stayed still, as if waiting for Henry to make his decision. He could alert the axe wielding maniac of his impending doom… He could recall the message likening this creature to a fallen person… He could do so much but Henry chose silence. His inaction was the thing Bendy seemed to be waiting for. “
