It has been three years since the Saint Pastry Order has fallen. One and a half years since Menthol Cookie had swallowed his pride and asked a paladin of an opposing faith to take him and Seltzer Cookie in. Nine months since he had finally allowed himself to reintegrate into society. Six months since the signs had begun to rear their ugly heads.
How could he have known that such a demonic-looking Creature, the son of a Beast, was truly a kind and hearty soul? But then again, Demons tend to take on Angelic masks…
Is this kind and energetic disposition truly how Capsaicin Cookie is, or is it another face for the Avatar to lure Menthol Cookie in, and take him and Seltzer Cookie back, to reunite with their once-dear High Forkbearer?
Once the skepticism sets back in, only time will tell if it’ll ever let him go from its clutches.
Will the fires of loyalty melt the ice of paranoia? Or will they clash together like Hellfire, leaving nothing behind?
