Summary
It must be raining. Bakugou’s hair is stuck to his forehead, the sleeves of his jacket are dripping onto the mat outside Shouto’s apartment, and there’s pink running down the side of his face in rivulets.
Pink.
Shouto moves before he can think, one hand reaching to cup Bakugou’s face, the other going towards his chin to tilt him towards the light.
Bakugou flinches, just barely, and Shouto stops, his fingers less than an inch from Bakugou’s skin.
“Fuck,” Bakugou says, with feeling, then locks his eyes on Shouto’s. His expression is complicated; almost as complicated as Bakugou himself, as impossible a feat as that seems.
It’s at war with itself; again, Shouto thinks, not unlike Bakugou. Hesitation and want. Anger and affection.
It's ten pm on a Tuesday, and Bakugou Katsuki is at Shouto's door.

Todoroki just stands there, blinking, as if looking like a head-empty beautiful bastard is his fucking job. Katsuki can’t think of anyone more pointless to use a quirk like this on. Obviously it’s been annoying as fuck, but like – it’s Todoroki. He’s already the most beautiful thing most of them have ever seen. Katsuki’s pretty sure everyone who knows him is halfway in love with him anyway.

Summary
Princes like Kuroo, second heirs, are held to the tradition of hosting a choosing ceremony on their eighteenth birthday. At the end of the ceremony, Kuroo is supposed to choose which prince he will be engaged to, and when he turns twenty, he will marry his choice. Kuroo's mother is a stickler for tradition and has selected five fine young princes for Kuroo to choose from, but then Bokuto arrives and throws everything into chaos. 'Royalty AU' meets 'fake dating' AU in this fanfic that is all about embracing cute tropes.
