It has been said that no battle plan survives contact with the enemy. If Anakin had been present he would no doubt have pointed out that the old saying is even more accurate when the enemy are not where you expect them to be and are, in fact, the ones making all the contact.
Obi-Wan Kenobi attempts to land his troops at Point Rain. Geonosis is not kind.
