Summary

Summary
Some memories of this day will stay with Xiao Zhan even years later: a banner with a splendid white peony, deep green clothes of the Luoyang delegation, a field of yellow flowers chosen to officially sign the treaty in, and a two-year-old child clinging to the queen’s hand amidst all those colours.
Mostly though, Xiao Zhan will remember looking at the child and wondering how he can marry someone who looks less like a prince and more like a plump little piggy.
Or: Over the course of twelve years Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo learn that arranged engagements aren't that bad.
