Draco flushed pink but didn’t balk, inclining his head agreeably. “In a manner of speaking. I don’t want to tie her up— although, actually, that might be—” He shook his head, refocusing. “No. Not dominate her. Just…take the reins once in a while. Let her—” He broke off to mumble something that sounded suspiciously like Christ Almighty, then cleared his throat. “Let her turn her brain off and do as I say for a turn.”
All told, hearing Draco indirectly confess to being submissive in bed was just about the least surprising part of the entire conversation thus far.

Summary

Everyone seems to wholeheartedly believe his grand show except for a certain blunder of a wizard. Neville Longbottom who seems to have taken up the torch of Dumbledore's Army's warlord. As the year progresses, the two find themselves inexplicably drawn together as they find kindred souls in each other even as they are on opposite sides of the conflict.

Summary
Voldemort won, the remaining Order fled or were killed in a spectacular way: Draco’s parents among them. He was only kept alive to be a symbol of the Dark Lord’s grace, patience and forgiveness. On the other hand, Neville tried to infiltrate the ranks, but it wasn’t until he was caught that he realized how stupid he was. He was close to death when the cold air of Draco’s voice infiltrated his worn out mind, saving him. Neville tried to keep his mind guarded, let alone his heart, but as the Dark Lord gained power so do their feelings for each other. The Dark Lord ordered Neville and Draco to marry, a punishment worse than death, sealing their promise with dark magic.
