"I had to."
"You didn't have to," she said. Her voice broke. "You really didn't."
"He was aiming for you."
"I know." She wiped her face with her free hand, smearing a streak of blood across her cheek. "I know, Neil."
Neil Josten has always treated Katelyn like background noise. She's a liability attached to Aaron Minyard that needs to be managed. But when a ghost from Baltimore interrupts his morning run, Neil realizes that his calculations were wrong.

Neil had this kind of unique beauty that looked unreal, impossible. He raised his arms above his head, Andrew crouched down, the striking blue eyes followed him but his face stayed tilted up to the sky. The prettiest boy Andrew had ever seen, everything on Neil was too much, Andrew still couldn't have enough, always craving for more.
They changed poses again and again, stopping from time to time so Andrew could fix his curls. He's nowhere a professional photographer but he is a professional in Neil, the best one in the market!
