Summary
Nick Nelson's teacher TikTok account has gone viral for all the wrong reasons and he is finding it all a bit overwhelming. Working a side gig at a Christmas Tree lot run by Harry Greene, the whole thing has gotten completely out of control as Harry is taking full advantage of Nick's social media rise to get more customers (and maybe a few of Nick's rejects too *shudder*).
Charlie Spring, also a TikTok creator but with only a small and loyal following (bet you can't guess who his number one fan is...), finds himself carting a drunk Tao and Elle to this specific Christmas tree lot because Elle insisted on it, and she is not to be argued with in an inebriated state.
Elle bumps into her colleague Imogen at the lot, and it doesn't seem to be an accident. In fact, it seems like they have something else up their sleeves entirely. Whatever could it be...? *exaggerated winky face*
OR- I started writing this in November, never finished it in time for Christmas, but decided to pull it back out because I live where it is very cold, I am stuck inside, and finishing this fluffy little thing made me very happy. Now that it's done, I figured I might as well share it even though its the middle of January.

Charlie lights up with the fire of a billion suns as he spots Nick from across the room. He slides out of their booth and sprints towards him, going for a hug.
Nick grabs him by the waist and spins him around like he weighs nothing more than a feather, which, Matthew briefly notes, judging by the muscles peeking out from the sleeves of his shirt, probably is the case, at least for him.
“I feel like I’m in The Notebook right now,” Naveena says, her mouth slightly hanging open, a smudge of red lipstick on her front tooth.
Or: Charlie and Nick in college, through the eyes of an outsider.
