Jon grinned at him, “Rule the world.” He then moved to float vertically and forced Damian to face him, his hand underneath his chin. But it wasn’t harsh like whenever Talia would do it to him, Jon was gentle. Far more gentle than what he had expected like he was trying his best not to harm a single hair on Damian’s head.

“I'll break his finger, Damian.” Jon's voice is low, almost sweet, but the red gleam in his eyes and the tension in his jaw give away the threat.
He keeps his grip firm, twisting Grayson's finger with chilling ease. “But you can avoid it if you come with me.”
Damian feels the weight of all eyes on him. Grayson shakes his head urgently, his eyes pleading with him not to give in, but it all dissolves as the crack echoes through the air.
Dick gasps in pain.
“Decide, Damian” Jon murmurs, bowing his head in mock patience “Or will I have to murder everyone on this planet for you to understand how much I need you?”
Damien's heart flips. He knows Jon can hear him. That he can hear his racing pulse, the betrayal of his own body.
“No, I will go with you”
