Summary
A whale fall is popularly defined as the carcass or remains of a whale, though it is also described as a phenomenon or process that when a whale dies, the carcass will eventually sink to the seafloor. This provides a veritable buffet of nutrients to seafloor dwellers in the form of a sudden, concentrated food source. When you think about it, the whale is actually doing a great service to the community, simply by falling. That's not too hard, is it? Just…falling.
Or, Izuku Midoriya stands at the roof of a building at many different points throughout his too-young life.

Virgil braced himself against the counter, allowing the glass to fall back into the sink with yet another crash. The kitchen blurred in and out of focus. He just wanted to close his eyes and give in. It would be so…comfortable to not have to think for a little while. Virgil allowed himself to fall.
