Summary
Will Byers ends up getting weed from a basketball player named Chance, and unfortunately his attempts to hide it don't succeed, and Hopper finds out about it. He gets in trouble, and is forced to stay away from Chance, but no matter how hard he tries, more stress comes into his life and memories and trauma from his past comes back, and he only gets worse.

Will Byers is addicted to weed and smoking, but they get taken away just as Vecna's torments get worse and worse, and Will feels on the brink of insanity, and he needs more.

Summary
It isn’t that Will had been ignoring the party (specifically Mike). It’s just that they never reached out once he had left like they said they would, so like anyone else would have done he was petty and decided that he wouldn’t call or write to them until they did, which led to it being almost 2 years since he had talked to them.
Will was almost done with his sophomore year of high school and had been through so much change in just the past year. Midway through his freshman year he had met some friends because of his honors English class.

Summary
How can a damnation feel like a benediction?
Will Byers had always known that he was connected to the Upside Down in a way no one else ever had been or ever would be. He was sure it would kill him. It was his own personal hell.
Will didn’t expect it to welcome him home, but it seemed the Upside Down had other plans for him. That was alright with him; all the better to tear it down from the inside. Now he just had to find a way to make sure he didn’t tear himself down with it.
UPDATE: sweeping edits made throughout, so if you've read this before, feel free to give it a reread! I think ya'll will like some of the changes I've made.

Summary
Will Byers was the only one that didn’t have anyone that whole Summer. That summer he had to watch the whole party fall in love. He couldn’t fall in love with anyone, because the one he wanted to fall in love with, loved someone else. It wasn’t until he was in California that he was able to forget about that person, until he started coughing up blood…And flowers?!
Basically, Will Byers has Hanahaki Disease and Mike's the reason for it. Basically, Season 4 with a lot of twists, and me changing up things as I go.
