Summary
“We were hoping for one more song from you, Simon. We've had a lot of requests from your fans today for you to sing a particular song. These folks have been donating and we’d love to give back by letting them hear one of their favorite songs.”
Simon was nodding along, he wasn’t sure which song they’d ask him to sing, but he felt pretty confident he and his band could do any of them as they were fresh from rehearsals for the upcoming tour.
“They’d like to hear Seventeen, if you are willing.” and Simon’s heart dropped a bit.
He rarely sang this at press related events and it was so deeply personal that it was often hard to feel casual about it. He quickly glanced at Isak, who nodded and shrugged to him, letting him know they could but it was up to him. He took a breath in.
The interviewer must have sensed his hesitation and ever a professional media personality said, “I know it seems to be a deeply personal song and you haven’t really ever spoken about the source of its inspiration…“ trailing off.
Simon put on his best media face, laughed a bit awkwardly, “I like to think all my songs are personal since I am the one writing and singing them.“ trying to make it a joke. -

Summary
Simon meets Wille 5 years after they broke up and departed the last day at Hillerska.
Simon stops dancing entirely. Bodies bump into him, and he’s jostled in his stillness. He stares hard and as the figure looks up, he suddenly straightens and Simon knows he’s been spotted too. Rosh grabs his arm and shouts, “Are you okay man?” but Simon can’t respond or even turn away. She tugs him again, and as he turns to face her, she must see how he feels so she just leads him through the crowd, off the dance floor. Dimly through his chaotic mind he hears the crowd screaming the lyrics I will never forget you, and you’ll always be by my side, til the day I die over and over and he does in fact feel like dying right now. Simon is sweaty and he feels like he might faint.

Summary
Duty versus love. Head versus heart.
There have always been two parts to Prince Wilhelm: Wilhelm, the prince he was born as, and Wille, the normal boy he wants to be.
