Summary
Six months after Laios’s coronation and the founding of the new nation of Melini, the Elven Empire requests a diplomatic visit from representatives of Melini. Kabru is the obvious choice of ambassador, but for some reason, Laios is resistant to the idea - and despite what he says, it’s possible Kabru isn’t too keen on it, either.

When Kabru's professor encourages him to get a job working for Laios's dog training business, the stakes quickly escalate into something neither of them bargained for.
