Summary
Task Force 141 has been deployed on a vacation to paradise, Rio de Janeiro. Forty days have passed since the outbreak of a deadly epidemic that not only has completely upheaved the entire city, but even spread globally; turning people into vicious, bloodthirsty monsters. The mission is simple: infiltrate the quarantine zone and escort the key scientist with his research which will hopefully lead to a cure to this disaster. And of course, not get eaten.
Sergeant Mikołaj Nowak is the newest addition to the 141; a wildcard that has been working alone for most of his military career up until now. He likes to keep everyone, especially the men he works with, at arms length. Feelings are messy, and relationships even messier; who even has time for love while you're actively being shot at. To make matters worse, his fellow officer's do nothing to help the urges he struggles to keep buried.
After the mission goes from bad to worse, then the addition of an unexpected mercenary group, Mikołaj is forced to come to terms with his feelings for a certain rival agent he's constantly at odds with. It’s Call of Duty meets Resident Evil meets a bunch of other zombie media influences shoved in.
