Phainon’s hands clutched Mydei’s shoulders, fingers curling into the fabric there. His body had become sensitive to every motion. Each caress left heat behind. Every inch of his skin that was touched felt marked—possessed.
“You still miss home,” Mydei said quietly.
Phainon hesitated. “A little.”
Mydei’s arms tightened around him. “That will fade in time.”
“I don’t want it to fade completely,” Phainon murmured. “It’s a part of me.”
Mydei’s jaw tensed.
“But I’m all of you now,” he said. The words were soft, but not gentle.
Phainon looked at him, startled by the weight in his voice. Mydei kissed him then—deep, slow, consuming. The kind of kiss that told him not to speak again. The kind that made his mind go quiet.
Phainon melted into it, letting himself be pulled closer, pressed against every inch of the king’s broad chest, his legs tightening around him instinctively.

Summary
All he remembers is that it had started off fairly harmless. A teasing touch here, a flirty look there over the cozy atmosphere of one of their weekly “living room dinner date” nights. He had only wanted to tease the younger man a bit, goading him into doing something about his supposed “naughtiness” instead of only grumbling and looking away, ears tipped red.
Mydei was just so cute in all his coyness, Phainon couldn’t help himself but to chance his luck. He should’ve known better. Should’ve known that Mydei would do something about it– was waiting like a predator would on prey to be given a reason.

To the public, Hawks is charismatic, charming, the perfect hero. The fastest man alive. The man unashamed of the photographs in magazines. The hero who was happily a sellout. Who didn't care what people thought of him, especially the older heroes.
The public never saw the assassinations. Never saw the blood on his feathers. The intense training sessions he'd gone through to become a hero. He doesn't even remember his name, he's been Hawks for so long.
Hawks goes on missions, and sits on his shelf when he's not on missions. That's what he's supposed to do. He's not useful when he doesn't have something to do.
Until he gets his new mission. Infiltrate the League of Villains. It should be simple, what with the amount of infiltration training he's had. But Dabi is difficult.
