While tangling with the Trash Beasts like a kitten with yarn, making passive observation of the polluted zones, and getting blood drawn regularly for his frankly horrifying varieties of antibodies, Jabber watched Tamsy Caines, and waited.

Summary
Zanka is the heir to the Nijiku family business and a secret superfan of the popular alt band the Raiders, with secret collections of all sorts of their memorabilia. Although the business won't come into play in this fic, the Nijiku's expectations will. (I can't decide on a specific alt genre okay it's just metalpunkrockwhatver) After finally getting tickets to their concert, he finds himself in direct contact with their lead singer, Jabber Wonger. After the show, Zanka finds himself closer to the singer than he ever imagined.

“Bet you had a meeting about me, huh? I can smell them. Everyone. Ohh, man,” Jabber crooned, leaning his cheek onto the curve in between Assistaff’s two points. “Wish I were awake. To know I was surrounded by big and strong cleaners while I was helpless and unconscious—”
—Zanka’s a cleaner. So when he finds Jabber’s beaten and unconscious body stranded by the road, he cleans.

“No shit, with this headache,” Zanka grumbles. He glances up at Zodyl, pulling a face, and carefully wiggles out of his hold, standing on his own two feet. He sways a bit, then says, “Who the hell are you people?”
Interesting. Zodyl’s mind begins spinning, ideas and experiments spilling into his thoughts as Zanka assesses both them and the Cleaners with an unfamiliar gaze.
“Kyouka,” he says then, “What… what’s going on?”
On a joint mission with the Hellguard, Zanka takes a hit to the head. Zodyl sees an opportunity and takes it.
