Summary
In a continuation following the events of Hellboy 2 - The Golden Army, Prince Nuada is returned to life through the use of an alicorn (a unicorn's severed horn). Having long believed that the last of the unicorns had vanished from the world, the possibility of a living Mare spurs the first glimmer of hope the fae prince has experienced in long centuries of war and exile. Just maybe, the Fae World isn't doomed to final destruction after all.
I do not own Hellboy or any of the characters used herein (save one). This is entirely an exercise in my own imagination.
Rated M for later adult content (Specific warnings at the beginning of each chapter). Not Mary-Sue. Nuada/OC.

“It’s not that bad.” Hermione tries to amend.
“Not that bad?” She whispers harshly, self-consciously pausing to see if she’s accidently woken anyone up. “One of them is an assassin.”
“A brainwashed ex-assassin,” Hermione corrects. “The distinction is important, Harry, they’re your soulmates.”
“And that’s supposed to make everything better? Assassin on the streets, sexy in the sheets?”
Hermione stutters and Harry can almost feel her blushing through the phone.
“That isn’t what I meant and you know it.”
Harry can hear her own breath crackling through the phone when she sighs, “I’m sorry. I just… I never thought that this would happen to me.”
“You mean two super soldiers from the 1940’s as soulmates? I don’t think anyone would’ve.”
