It wasn’t anything particularly unusual; given the temperature of the realm they resided in, sweat was very nearly a given, and even somebody who’d been down here for almost a century could sometimes feel the heat.

Alastor was about to go into heat.
He could already feel the beginnings of it coiling at the base of his spine, the heat gathering in his gut. His appetite had increased and his libido even more so. Although it was a sensation he had gotten used to over his years in hell, mating with King of Hell had only amplified his symptoms to match the intense ruts Lucifer experienced.
Even so, this heat would be different. This heat would conceive an heir.
