Logan notices it for the first time in the Void, after the bloody and slick fight, when he wakes up beside Wade on the bed in the… are they in a cave? There's a change in the smell. At first he can't catch it right, probably because he's too tired and craving a drink so bad he might die but he's pretty sure Wade smells different, the essence is basically the same, metallic and spice flavored, something he tries not to think so much… The point is when he met this mouth guy, he smelt mostly like rotten fruit, like an orange getting eaten by fungoes, while its skin dies in a bruise of so many layers of colors. Now he smells of something fresh and… it fades away a bit as the older man numbs his senses with the alcohol he just found — he doesn't give a fuck who it belongs to — and Wade just woke, starting his ridiculous babbling…

Logan pulls away this time, laughing lightly as Wade whines and tries to chase his lips. “I’ve got more things I want to show you.”
Wade pouts as Logan pulls away from him but gets a thrum of excitement run through him when he remembers that Logan is touring him around what could only be described as his dream house. “Lead the way, honey badger.”

Three months have crept by right under his nose. The air outside crisped and then froze over, the leaves bled orange and yellow before finally snapping off their branches and allowing thick snow to pile up in their stead, and Logan is so fucking fond of Wade it makes him wanna throw up.

Logan stops talking. He’s mid-scold, tossing his soiled paper towel onto the counter and about to reach for another one when his eyes land on Wade.
