While asleep on Jinn’s shoulder, J dreams about meeting the other him. He’s told not to worry about things if he truly tried his best but before he was woken up, J couldn’t help but notice how the other J’s soul-mark seemed faded, the once black button like tattoo now a faded grey. Throughout the whole day afterwards, J couldn’t help but think about the color and how it was different from theirs. During the night when they settle in and have some fun, J keeps his eyes on Jinn’s soul-mark to the point that Jinn notices and they talk about what was nagging J’s mind. J gets reassured and Jinn decides to show his boyfriend how much he truly loves him and through their act of love, their shared soul-marks begin to emanate soft light, blinking like their matching heartbeats.
