We Set Our Hearts Ablaze (And Soon the World Will Follow) by orphan_account

Summary
Kyojuro had the best intentions when he initially began spending time with Akaza, knowing that no one would survive an encounter with him if he didn't want them to and wanting to gain more information on the demons that he was so determined for Kyojuro to become a part of. But the more he learned, the more he hesitated to say anything.
Akaza seemed so very human.
-
This is a Kyojuro corruption arc that results in not only him but also Senjuro and Kaname (his Kasugai Crow) becoming demons. As one would imagine, this changes the rest of the timeline after that point considerably.

The Thin Line between Demons and Humans by orphan_account
Fandom: 鬼滅の刃 | Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Anime), 鬼滅の刃 | Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Manga)

Summary
Humans and demons. Good and evil. These things were seen as black and white, as absolute certainties, but the existence of Nezuko Kamado created cracks in the foundation of that belief. When Akaza, a Waxing Moon, displayed a strong moral code and human feelings beyond what anyone expected demons were capable of, Kyojuro's understanding of the world came into question. When Akaza extended that kindness to others, simply because he loved Kyojuro and it would make him happy, the foundation of his beliefs shattered.
Corruption could be a subtle thing, laced with genuine kindness and a desire to do good. Kyojuro would not be the only one taken in by it.

Scattered Fireworks (Converge as One) by orphan_account
Fandom: 鬼滅の刃 | Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Anime), 鬼滅の刃 | Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (Manga)

Summary
An AU where Akaza was sent to oversee Gyutaro and Daki instead of Enmu, resulting in him meeting Tengen and his wives in place of Kyojuro. The ripples of this change echo outward and affect more than any of them could have imagined.
Who would have thought that they'd find room in their hearts for yet another, a demon no less?
But they were on opposite sides of a war, and even if they found peace and neutrality while with one another, something would have to give eventually. And none of them could bear to see any of the others hurt, regardless of what they had to do to ensure their safety.

Summary
It is a common misconception that demons can’t have soulmates.
Soulmarks do not disappear once a human is turned; in fact, they do not change at all. An active bond remains active, and even a newly-turned demon that is mad with hunger avoids attacking their soulmate. An open bond remains open, waiting for the right person to come along and say the words written upon the demon’s wrist so that it comes alive with color. And a lost bond remains lost, becoming gray and faded once the person it connects to dies.
Most demons lose their soulmates before ever meeting them. The pain of an unrealized bond’s loss is painful enough that demons lose themselves to their base instincts for several days, but that doesn’t hold a candle to the loss of an active bond. Two linked souls are never meant to be separated, in life or death, and that is why humans typically follow their soulmates into death within days of their parting.
Demons do not have that luxury.
