Summary

In a stroke of fate, or rather, just pure coincidence- the two have very different yet curious first encounters with two separate vampires. Meeting in the first place takes them all down a slippery slope which not only slowly unravels the truth and the past of these vampires, but of Uzi's strange supernatural connection to them.

Healing from old wounds, reunions, apologies, forgiveness, trust, the bonding of siblings, proper friendships... and even... ah.. learning to co-exist with individuals you despise is what this part of the story is made up of. The Future shines ever so brightly for the bugs of Hallownest...

Summary
After the Pale King seals himself in the place of the Pure Vessel, Hallownest is left to slowly heal and try to return to some form of normalcy in his absence.
For one individual in particular, Fierce Dryya of the Great Knights, this change is something that is hard to get used to. She finds herself having to care for the Pure Vessel under special circumstances, and this further alteration in her day-to-day life leads to... very interesting outcomes. Perhaps a new familial bond, perhaps a hopeful future, perhaps many good things for a knight who had already lost most of her hope for this world in the first place.
