Summary
Time Is an Illusion. It may be hard to believe, but this December marks the ten-year anniversary of the first episode of The Magicians. To celebrate that, we’re running a week-long event.
While the event is still months away, we want to start sharing some info with more details to follow.
Posting time will be Dec 8-16, 2025.
All forms of fan content (fic, art, vid, playlist, cosplay, etc.) are welcome. It can be a new work or a continuation of a WIP. There is no word limit for fic.
The themes for the 10-year celebration will be anniversary, 1x01-inspired, and/or time-related. Any or all of these themes are fine. They don't need to be the main focus of the work, but should be visible in some form.
Join us in celebration this December!

Theme: WARM UP. This is a micro Magicians fanwork event, celebrating The Magicians (Lev Grossman, SyFy). Posting Dec. 1-7, 2024 (Eastern time zone). For this challenge, we’re especially interested in pieces that are small, like fic to about 1,000 words (drabbles, poems, and flash encouraged), and shorter/smaller fanworks of every sort. Submit as many or few as you like. The “warm up” theme could include vibes that are warm, cozy, related to winter, being hot (in any sense of that word), warming up or preparing for a big event, just starting out in something like magic, or any spin you’d like to put on it! We’re welcoming fanworks of all types celebrating The Magicians (Lev Grossman/SyFy).
