Summary
Earlier this year, I bought a book titled "Q&A a day for writers", which basically has one prompt per day. These are some of the drabbles that were inspired by certain prompts and by fictional characters at the same time.

“Alright,” Karen says. “I’ll take your maybe, Eddie. But I’m willing to bet that this place will turn it into an I do within the week, just you wait.”

Summary
Prompt Fill: 9-1-1 Bingo: Round Four - Moonlit Walk
Eddie wakes up from nightmares every single day after moving home from El Paso. He's also been dodging Buck's phone calls and text messages.
Or Eddie's time in El Paso dealing with his unsupportive parents triggered his PTSD.
----
Eddie Diaz does not panic.
Or that's the lie he's been telling himself and everyone who will listen for as long as he can remember. It was second nature to save face, the lie poised on the tip of his tongue from a lifetime of hiding and burying himself deep down, out of sight, out of mind. It took Eddie a long time to break those chains, to escape from El Paso and all its expectations—to escape the pressure his parents constantly impressed upon him.
Eddie had to teach himself how to cut and run when necessary; that's how he'd ended up in LA after all—but that also meant he needed to be strong and unbreakable too—just the way his parents taught him to growing up.

Summary
“You kept this hidden,” Buck says quietly as he works.
Eddie shifts, his body moving with less stiffness now, fluid. He turns just enough to glance back at Buck, voice low. “You found it anyway.”
or: Eddie’s sore, Buck’s got magic hands, and a little honesty goes a long way.

Summary
“Seriously, the second I get back, you’re the one running off?” Eddie asks as he steps up to Buck. Their shoulders bumps together and Buck does his best not to flinch, from the words or the sudden contact. He’s unused to having Eddie around. The months of distance seems to have overwritten the years of familiarity. “You couldn’t have given me a settling in period?”
Buck should joke back. That’s what he does, matched Eddie, because the two of them have been in sync for years. He can’t though, because Buck has been knocked off the track, spiraling out of Eddie’s gravitational pull, and he’s not sure how to get back on. If he even wants to get back on.
Buck transfers out of the 118, gets a new apartment, and tries to pretend he isn't in love with his best friend.
