“So… you know Miles.” He winces at the obviousness. “Recently we’ve been, uh, going on dates. And stuff.”
Trucy smiles wryly. It’s not hard to guess where this is going.
“And we want to start… a relationship,” he says slowly, sheepish and embarrassed. He straightens and focuses his gaze on Trucy. “But you’re the most important person to me, so I wanted to run it by you. I told him and he agreed we won’t make it official until I have your input. You have the final say, okay?”
Trucy’s happy for him. She hasn’t seen him this kind of giddy and hopeful for a while. She’s seen how they would sometimes look at each other when the other couldn’t see. She knows it would make her daddy so, so happy.
That’s why she says without hesitation, “Oh, Daddy… you can’t.”
Phoenix asks for Trucy’s blessing to start a relationship with Edgeworth. It’s the last thing she wants right now.

Edgeworth is sitting down for his lunchtime tea when he gets the call. Phoenix Wright’s name shows up on the screen, and he frowns at the time difference.
On his personal cellphone, he forgoes his usual decorous greeting. “Wright, it’s four in the morning for you, why are you awake?”
The silence that follows tells him everything and nothing. Wright would normally answer with a laugh or witty counter. A half-second too long of that silence, and he immediately senses something is wrong. -

Here were the facts, then: Phoenix Wright was almost certainly attracted to guys, and almost certainly didn’t realize it. Phoenix Wright was dating a woman, who Doug knew from first-hand experience could be very charming when she wanted to be. Phoenix professed to be in love with this woman after just a couple of months. He also cared enough about a guy friend that he was apparently willing to move heaven and earth just for a chance to talk to him.
Which made Doug think, suddenly, of the times he’d seen Phoenix with Dahlia, the sort of stiff expression he’d sometimes get around her, the over-the-top gestures of romance, his insistence that he really loves her, actually, just fuck off, Doug!
Who was he trying to convince, exactly?

threatsencouragements, decides to use the trip as an opportunity to express feelings he's been holding onto for years.However when Edgeworth, Larry, and Phoenix wake up the morning after Gumshoe's bachelor party, it doesn't take them long to realize things didn't go as planned: Edgeworth's cards have been declined, Larry has been mysteriously injured, and Phoenix wakes up wearing a wedding ring. And, to top it all off, Gumshoe is missing. They'll need to rush against time to find Gumshoe before his wedding, and to do that they'll need to figure out what the hell exactly happened last night.
