And so, on some random November morning, Will spoke those simple words into existence. Words shared between late night lovers and strangers in club bathrooms, between bitter exes and beneficial friends. Words without much significance to most, but words that carried the weight of gods upon their shoulders, rewarded for his patience.

Hannibal stalled before turning to him, half dumbfounded before he turned to the sink and spit, rinsing his brush before shutting off the water. He didn’t speak until he’d crossed the threshold, these conversations not meant to be had through open doors, the distance too far to hold his gaze. No, this conversation required eye contact, the brush of hands, the gravity of black holes; and oh, how casually he’d brought it up, when the whole world seemed up hinge upon it.
