Forget the power of gastronomy and culinary arts, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of payday and a raise, for in the grilled darkness of the burnt lamb there are only customer complaints. There is no peace amongst the restaurants, only an eternity of slicing and dicing the garnish, and the laughter of hungry patrons.
