Booming echoes of the explosions rang throughout the pair's ears. Jinx, propped up against a wall, clasped her fist and eyed Vi and Caitlyn, shifting her body as she lurked closer, listening in on their conversation.
The erratic jolts of her exhilarated body, having been injected with shimmer, made her less stealthy than she were normally; also, the complex emotions she were facing weren't helping at all. The words that left Vi's mouth made Jinx's eyes widen, her right eye twitching as her nails dug into the stone pillar. She's finally just now realizing this. God, how humiliating was she?though anger and resentment clouded her vision, overtaking her emotions; normally her emotions controlled Jinx's actions, but being lifted onto a pedestal as a symbol of rebellion from the undercity, she had to undertake some prejudice and learn to calm herself down to make more calculated movements in front of the people of zaun.
