Harry’s face was surely beet red but he forced himself to meet his godfather’s gaze head on, green eyes boring into gray. Sirius searched his godson’s face as Harry willed him to understand, to not make him say it out loud because what he needed was something that he didn’t think he was capable of asking for out loud.

Summary
James and Lily Potter are killed by Voldemort, but when the spell backfires off of baby Harry, Voldemort actually dies and the war ends. Instead of being shipped off to the Dursley's, Harry goes to stay with Sirius and Remus, which had always been according to his parents' wishes. This is a little snippet of their life together.

Summary
“Harry’s been behaving strangely.”
“Strangely?” Arthur asked, taking a sip of his tea. “How so?”
Sirius tapped a long finger against the table. He briefly wondered how to best phrase his concerns, but ultimately, the plainest question came out of him.
“Did you notice Harry has a habit of doing the dishes?”

With the Second Wizarding War over, Sirius is more than excited to put everything behind him and raise Harry as his own. However, he and Remus begin to notice odd and troubling behaviors from Harry. Without answers from the source, Sirius turns to Harry's previous guardians--Molly and Arthur Weasley--and learns Harry is still making adjustments from his time with the Dursley's.
