    Donna bites her lip and drags her gaze up to his eyes. “Not really.”

     

    Josh must catch the desire permeating through her because his eyes darken and his soft smile sharpens into a smirk.

     

    “Donnatella,” he teases, crossing the kitchen to lean right into her space. “That’s not very nice.”

     

    Donna tilts her face down and looks up at him through her lashes, her lips quirking into a playful smile. “I’m sorry,” she says sweetly, setting her wine glass down and reaching out to mess with the collar of his shirt. “How can I make it up to you?”

     

    Josh’s gaze goes impossibly darker as he glances down at her lips. “I’m sure I can think of something.”
