Summary
Abby was still asleep and he was dozing, so he placed the baby in the cradle the hospital provided and decided to get some sleep while both of his girls were doing the same. But when he woke up, the baby was crying and Abby was nowhere to be found.

“Oh,” Buck’s heart broke for the baby. What would happen now?
“I know you weren’t planning on being a single dad,” The nurse continued, “But we have some resources to help. Otherwise I could get the social worker to discuss adoption options.”
“She’s not mine,” Buck explained, “Her ex… I don’t even know how to get a hold of him or if he knows.”
The nurse looked around, “I’ve seen you with her. She needs someone and I think you would be a great dad.”
