Apophis knows all about them, the children of Geb and Nut. He knows the devastation that will follow after they are born, and he doesn't like it one bit! Why even allow such a thing? Why not just let him devour the cosmos instead? His worries are placated by Heka, who commands this experiment to continue. So Apophis watched, and he waited.
The day came, and with each child's birth, the uneasy feeling that grew in his gut worsened. But for the last tiny bundle to emerge, he was intrigued. He watched this child of chaos closely as he burst forth from the womb, waiting with infinite patience for the day that they would meet...
