Post-war, Severus Snape returns to Hogwarts a free, but still broken, man. He’s trying to move on and throws himself into potions once again. A strange request and a vague piece of research send him to the USA to retrieve a possible missing link for a difficult potion. Unfortunately, he knows he is out of his element, and requests the help of a guide in finding it. Erica Crawford is hired as his guide, a not so southern belle of a witch with her own secrets and demons. Their time spent together in the wilderness although entirely too brief, healed parts of them neither expected to heal. They cross paths again and the secrets are flung into the open for all to see, much to the amusement of a still living Albus Dumbledore and the rest of the Hogwarts staff. Snape is eventually pulled into a world he thought he left behind. What could go wrong?

“Hello, little wolf,” he breathed softly into Sansa’s ear as he placed a fleeting kiss on her cheek. Her hair still smelled of thyme and lemongrass, and her perfume for the night was fruity and pleasingly light. A faint blush spread over her face, and she grinned, their eyes meeting only briefly before she offered him her other cheek. Tywin swallowed and then leaned down once more, lingering for a breath or two longer and straightening slowly as his hand fell. His touch elicited a trail of goosebumps on her skin, and he smirked inwardly, notching up a victory.
