Summary
The pipa fades away, until the only sounds left in the garden are the rustle of leaves and the wind stirring the long grass. Jin stands on her tiptoes and leans forward, dropping a kiss on his cheek.
There’s just a hint of jasmine in his hair. Jin breathes it in.
When she draws back, Li looks a little surprised and a little indignant, the way he had when she’d ruffled his hair so long ago. It makes her hide her mouth behind her fingers so he won’t see her smile.
“It was good to see you again, Li,” she says, and turns to slip back through the hedge.

Summary
Batman breaks into Clark Kent’s apartment expecting to find something—anything—that explains how an underpaid journalist is linked to Superman. Instead, what he finds is a bachelor pad held together by sticky notes, expired protein bars, and what was almost definitely a near-fatal cleaning accident.
But beneath the mess—beneath the questionable life choices—there’s something else. Something that doesn’t add up… he just had to look past the obvious fact that Kent and Superman are partners.

Summary
Fishlegs is resigned, as he looks over at the box hiding the tiny Nadder, “That’s the risk of big clutch sizes too, it increases the chances of having a tiny one, or an- uh, weak hatchling? There’s a name for those types of births but I can’t-”
Astrid drops the mirror, and doesn’t even hear as it shatters on the ground at her feet.
“A hiccup.”__
Taking in a clutch of Nadder Natchings, the Riders expected dealing with an onslaught of stray spines, fire, and squwaks that kept them up through the night.
What they didn't expect, was for one little hatchling to remind them so strongly of their leader.
It all unravelled from there.

A fic that acknowledges that "Hey, the way Hiccup was treated pre-Dragons was fucked up, actually!" And I couldn't be happier for it
In my mind it ends with them and their new lil buddy happy and safe after a lot of talks and some viking therapy <3 -

The story of eight dragons, and their collective decision to adopt one very confused Viking boy – because Odin knows his father wants nothing to do with him. An AU concept of mine for Writer’s Month 2020, day 8: Eight.

Summary
Stoick has always feared that one day his son would find the black dragon-skin he kept in the oak chest at the foot of his bed.
He feared that his son would know immediately what that dragon-skin was for.
He feared that one day his son would don that skin, and discover he could turn himself into a dragon.
He feared that Hiccup would then fly off, and never been seen again.
Just as his mother had done.

"Love was here, but it was not enough."
Really cool concept I think is worthy of being my first bookmark. Short and sweet, high recommend if you like creative subversions of the og material :)
