    Summary

There's no record of Peter's existence. No paperwork, no bank account, no friends... He's willing to admit that his mental stability is questionable at this point. Things are changing, he's changing, and drastic times call for drastic measures. He's... adjusting. Peter Parker can reinvent himself from the ground up. He can move on.

Jean Grey hasn't. But she has formed a slightly better plan. Brute forcing it isn't working. Maybe if she gathers just a little more intel first, she'll find her sister.

AKA: the BND rewrite where Peter's inhibitor chip works a little too well, Jean's redemption comes from empathy instead of guilt, Frank Castle pops in every now and then... And, sorry, the government's doing what? Is that Harley Keener?

    Summary

    Frank is Peter’s neighbor.
Peter doesn’t know who he is, not at first. He just figures the guy must be a boxer, because of the nose, and because every time Peter runs into him in the elevator or the hallway, he’s covered in bruises.
Peter also thinks his neighbor is kinda hot.
    Well.
    Very.

The spider in his head, the one that tends to surface when Peter is particularly tired or stressed, agrees. It presses, fuzzy, at the back of his mind:
    priMe thpecimen

    The spider has a lisp.
    Don’t ask.

    Summary

Frank looked down at his phone on the table. Ever since the DODC incident, he downloaded that Spider-Man tracking app, just in case. It had pinged saying the kid was spotted a few blocks down from their main patrol spot. What the kid doesn’t know won’t hurt him. He grabbed his keys and set off to his van.
