Summary
Something goes wrong. The crown is split during Narinder's defeat, splitting the power between him and the Lamb.
Narinder keeps a portion of his godhood, and the Lamb finds that abilities they had access to before are no longer possible: Healing is cut short. Powers are halved. And there is a very real chance of perma-death, as the ability to resurrect is not possible without full power, and the God of Death is not cooperative.
Afterlife and Purgatory are not options either. Dying means erasure. Gone.Lambert knows Narinder grows stronger by the day, crown or not, and yet keeps him spared as they try to figure out how to complete their own goals. Narinder vows vengeance on the lamb for usurping him. After a few unsuccessful murder attempts, he's in for the long haul. It is only a matter of time before the Lamb's guard is down before he can strike, and The One Who Waits is very patient. When a mystic being demands they save the bishops from purgatory, an alliance is in order.
Except...the lamb's actions and their presence begin to unlock abilities within the God of Death he didn't know he had prior to his imprisonment, among other fickle things, like emotions. The prophecy didn't warn him of that part.

CatNap doesn’t move. Something almost peaceful surrounds the toy cat, and it’s then that John understands what he’s witnessing: acceptance
He moves before he can think.
Or: Before CatNap can sacrifice himself to The Prototype, The Player interferes by shoving him out of the way. This opens up a whole new can of worms.

Summary
Prologue: The secrets of the Playtime Company are deep-seated in the earth. Experimentations, torture, coercion and murder were everyday occurrences. It took the Hour of Joy to end one horror and replace it with another. Death became the only true Salvation, the only true Freedom. But they say sometimes a place so rooted in darkness, fear and pain can bring the attention of greater forces to it; and something out there in the universe decided a long time ago that second chances at a good life was well deserved.
Summary: When DogDay died after being taken over by the mini-Critters, he thought that was the end. But he was surprised when he opened his eyes again to a new world, so familiar to the one he was trapped in, but also so much freer and safer. It's a world where the children of Playtime Co were given a second chance to live, without the tortures of their previous lives. As more characters join their new world, tendrils from the old one reaches in and threatens to destroy their lives once more. It is up for the tortured souls of Playtime to make another stand against the forces that threaten their happiness and peace.

Summary
Created under Governor Poppy’s Delight and Secure Initiative (DASI), VISAGE Corp. aimed to create the perfect team of super powered critters that could take on the rising number of powerful villains that were terrorizing the good people of Critter Haven.
And it worked…a little too well.
Crime had plummeted and the people were happy.
This was a good thing…right?
Dogday knows he should think so, but now he finds himself bored and desperate for something to do. His friends suggest that he get a day job, much to his dismay. He couldn't just leave the people of Critter Haven unprotected, could he? What if something happened while he was away? However, his friends weren't giving him much of a choice and Dogday was never one that could turn down an earnest request.
However, it's not long before a new threat emerges, led by an eccentric villain that goes by the alias: Chimera. An opponent unlike anything Dogday had ever faced before.
And strangely enough, this new foe seems oddly...familiar.
