A gentle kiss to his forehead snaps Naib out of his thoughts.
“Are you alright, darling?” Naib looks up and straight into Ronald’s eyes. He’s looking down in concern.
Naib shakes his head. Focus. “N-no… I’m fine... honey.” He manages to get the endearment out far too easily. “Just- um… A bit overwhelmed.”
“Oh, darling…” Ronald leans down and pecks Naib on the cheek. Naib tries not to die on the spot, thinking about how it happens so casually, even he starts to feel like they truly are a couple.
