Pansy’s smile deepened, unapologetic. “Why not?” she asked, soft but pointed, a glimmer of challenge in her tone. Pansy tilted her head, the amusement in her eyes deepening into something warmer, more curious. “Jealous, Longbottom?” she asked.
Neville didn’t flinch. He held her gaze, steady and unguarded, something smoldering beneath the surface. “Would it matter if I was?”
