“You’re drunk,” Kunikida said, trying to inject some firmness into his voice.
But then Dazai looked up, his eyes glassy but filled with an intensity that made Kunikida’s breath hitch.
“You don’t know how much I love you, do you?”
The words fell between them like a stone, rippling through the quiet bubble they seemed to occupy. Kunikida’s mind blanked.
Or Dazai drunkenly confesses to Kunikida, they're both idiots, misunderstandings arise.

Summary
Poe had been surprised at how welcoming they'd been, before realising that the Armed Detective Agency seemed to have committed to being a home for those who had been rejected from the rest of the world. This was a kind place, with kind people. And Ranpo, for some reason, seemed fixed on making sure that he knew that he had a home here. He tried not to think too hard about that.
The path of true love never did run smooth, but with the aid of Jeffery Archer, book clubs and communication, they fall into place.

The world isn’t black and white, but it is easier to view certain things that way. The things he has meticulously written down in his notebook are the correct way of things. The easier way of things. It was better to abide by his notebook, and nowhere in his notebook did it say how to deal with a Mafia executive arriving at his work establishment requesting an audience with him personally.

He all but stomps off, still holding Sigma effortlessly in his arms, and Kunikida watches him go with something akin to glee in his eyes.
