Alex reviews the notes, nodding along to himself, but his eyes are drawn to something scribbled in the corners of the paper. Some sort of… Symbol?
“What’s that?” Alex asks curiously, pointing it out to Jay. Jay follows his finger and blinks owlishly.
“Oh.” Jay says, sounding almost detached. “I forgot I did that. I dunno— got bored during the drive back I think?”
“What does it mean?”
Jay shrugs. “I don’t think it means anything. It’s just an O with an X through it. Not that hard to do.”
