Summary
It’s not really jealousy, he thinks. He isn’t jealous that Ben got there first. It’s nothing like that. It’s the fact that Ben didn’t care, doesn’t care, about all the precious things Charlie gave him. Ben took and took from Charlie and gave nothing in return. The thought of him using Charlie, especially like that. It makes him sick. It makes him possessive. It makes him want to fall to his knees and offer himself completely.
It makes him take off his jumper and hand it to Charlie just to see his smile.

Based on Alice's mini-comic of Nick and Charlie planning to propose to each other, posted on Tapas during a 2019 Q&A. Nick and Charlie both had rings for each other and Alice wrote "Nick and Charlie discuss getting married...then each secretly plans to propose to the other. Who do you think does it first...(I have no idea)"
With that, my idea was born! Here is a sweet, sexy, six chapter story of Nick and Charlie trying to propose to each other in their late twenties. Full of bi-panic and a little chaos.
