Summary
Cassidy Priestly is thirty-two years old, working as an ER doctor at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She has a happy life with her vampire girlfriend Violet, her mothers' are present as her 'friends' along with her sister Caroline. Life couldn't be anymore perfect, that is until one night she's working and gets bitten by a man that is presenting rabies like symptoms.
What happens when your best laid plans have a monkey wrench thrown into them? Miranda and Andy now have to deal with the fact that one of their daughters is a lot less human, just not in the way they had planned. Miranda studied the tie closest to Nigel’s wrist, a patternless option in tangerine. She picked it up and beckoned Andrea over with a bend of one finger. Once close enough, she draped the tie over her assistant's left shoulder to compare it against the large apricot-toned hibiscus on the print of her blouse. It was exactly the color she was looking for, and as Miranda smoothed the fabric with her hand, she could feel Andrea’s heart thundering beneath her palm. A pink blush crept up her chest and neck, and as it made its way to her cheeks, Miranda silently admired how lovely the hue was there.
