Jayce is inviting his new lab partner and new friend over to his home for the first time. It's only for a simple work session outside of the lab, there is nothing wrong with that.~ * ~
Jayce hadn’t budged from the end of the hallway, just stupidly paralyzed.
The leather oxford loafers were tossed off from Viktor’s feet. As he lifted his head to address his statuesque partner, Viktor only commented on his lack of response, “Jayce, you look like you have seen a ghost.”
“Hi, welcome home! I mean-” Jayce threw himself out of balance. He blurted out his frantic correction, “Welcome to my home!”

The year that came after passed in glimpses: a wedding. A honeymoon. Viktor’s long-awaited and finally cleared double mastectomy. A new home. A rescued pet. And then— finally— Jayce’s prosthesis implant.
“How are you feeling?” Viktor whispered after he came to, pressing a kiss to the center of his forehead.
“Amazing,” came Jayce’s response. Thoughtfully followed a few seconds later by: “My dick is swollen.”
