It was the summer of their 30th years of life when Shouyou and Tobio finally moved in together, settling into a small but charming apartment tucked just a little off the bustling heart of Tokyo.
It was fall when the couple finally—finally—had a proper off-day. Not a half-day, not a squeezed-in lunch break, but a full, technically free day where they could actually go out on a date.
Winter was when the couple had their first major fight. They’d argued before, of course. All couples do. But it had always been manageable. Nothing that couldn’t be fixed with a bit of space, an apology, or a shared meal in silence before the air cleared again. But this time was different.
Spring was when Tobio cried like a baby. Though the setter would never admit it—not even under threat of death—Tooru already had high-definition videos and a whole folder of photos saved not only on his phone, but backed up to his Google Drive, a hard disk, and probably a secret flash drive labeled "Definitely Not Tobio Crying.mp4."
